Download a more natural voice (free): open Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English and download one marked Enhanced or Premium. Ava, Zoe and Evan are good choices. Then reopen this app; it picks the best voice by itself, or you can choose one above.

How to lock the phone to this app
One-time setup: open Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access and turn it on. Under Passcode Settings, set a passcode and turn on Face ID.
Each time: open Doodle Pop, triple-click the side button (or the Home button on older iPhones), then tap Start.
To get out: triple-click the side button and enter your passcode, then tap End. With Face ID turned on, you can double-click the side button instead.
While Guided Access is on, your child can't swipe home, open other apps, or pull down notifications.
